Sponsorship for Durham Pagan Pride Day

Durham Pagan Pride is seeking sponsors for a single year (2011) or two-year (2011 – 2012) commitment supporting our event.

For a $100 donation per year, a sponsor will receive advertising in the following ways:

- The sponsor's name or advertising banner (if applicable) will appear on the Durham Pagan Pride website, http://dppd.durhampagans.ca/ and presented as the sponsor for the event
- The sponsor's name will appear along with the name of our event when advertized on other web sites
- The sponsor's name will appear along with the name of our event when advertized on event flyers (note: brochures promoting general information about our event that is not specific to the years of sponsorship are exempt)
- Any paid advertising will include the name of the sponsor along with the name of our event, in a "brought to you by..." or "sponsored by..." listing.
- The sponsor's name will appear posted near our event banner on the day of the event, in a "brought to you by... " or "sponsored by..." listing.

For a $50 donation per year, a sponsor will receive:

- The sponsor's name or advertising banner (if applicable) will appear on the Durham Pagan Pride website, http://dppd.durhampagans.ca/ and presented as the sponsor for the event
- The sponsor's name will appear posted near our event banner on the day of the event, in a "brought to you by..." or "sponsored by..." listing.

A sponsor (any level) will:

- When appropriate, be asked to participate in a "brochure exchange", wherein Durham Pagan Pride event poster and requests announcement poster (8.5 x 11) will be posted in the sponsor's store or other place of business, and flyers or brochures relating to and provided by the sponsor will be displayed at the DPPD Resources Table.

Sponsors are not exempt from participating in the application process for vendors or presenters, or for paying any applicable fees, should they wish to participate as an event vendor. Sponsorship does not guarantee a "vote" in any business matters handled by the Durham Pagan Pride Committee or its officers. Sponsors are welcomed and encouraged to provide assistance with advertising efforts as it is in their own benefit to do so. Sponsors are welcome to negotiate the terms of their potential sponsorship agreement with the Local Coordinator. Please note, Durham Pagan Pride is not registered as a "not for profit" agency and therefore is unable to provide tax receipts for donations.

With the aid of sponsors, Durham Pagan Pride hopes to improve the professional image of the Durham Pagan Pride Day event, its efforts to educate the community about local Paganism, and commitment to being a resource in the Durham Pagan community. Thank you.
